Light needs: Medium to high, indirect light.
Best temperatures: Room temperature. Provide 55ºF (13ºC) in fall for best blooms. Do not expose to frost.
Water and humidity needs: Keep evenly moist. Reduce watering in fall before buds form.
Growing guidelines: Grow in a small, well-draining pot with a mixture of soil, sand, peat moss, and compost. Replace mixture every Spring.
Common problems: Aphids may be a problem. Watering with cold water can cause the leaves to drop.
Propagation: Tip cuttings year round.
