Common names: Mother of thousands, Flaming Katy, piggy-back plant, life plant
Light needs: High light
Best temperatures: Allow cool temperatures for flower blooms to appear in fall 50º-60ºF (10º-16ºC). Otherwise, keep warm.
Water and humidity needs: Let soil dry between watering.
Growing guidelines: Use an all-purpose soil with added sand for drainage. Fertilize with fish emulsion once a month while blooming.
Common problems: Aphids. Mealybugs.
Propagation: Stem, cuttings, seed, and from leaves.
Comments: May be difficult to get to rebloom, or it may die after blooming. Depends on species.
